Your classroom setup.

So, what do you have teachers?  Desks with storage, hexagon tables with no storage, pockets on the backs of chairs?  Where do your students put their supplies?  Any quick tips for storage?

  1. We have desks with storage and cubbies for backpacks, but very small classrooms. I use baskets, bookshelves, plastic stacking paper hilders, etc. I really want to keep my room more organized this year! (Although many people feel I am very organized - they don't know what I know!)

  2. I use tables for my 5th graders and I am not sure I will ever go back to individual desks again. I am very lucky that a friend gave me her classroom set of student cubbies for this year. However, in the past, I used tubs for each table. Students stored their practice books and journals. The tubs were on a bookcase and under each tub on the shelves, students stored their textbooks. Each student's chair had a homemade sleeve that could hold their looseleaf paper in a folder, a white board, eraser, and marker.

  3. Hi,

My name is Martin and I'm a teacher from Canada. I just started a new website called Resources4teaching where educators can buy and sell lessons and educational resources. We are new and are looking for people to join and put up their materials for sale on our website. We are having an iPad draw for the first 100 Vendors who join and upload at least 1 lesson /resource for sale on our website. There are absolutely no fees to join and you earn royalties of 70%. You can visit us at: http://www.resources4teaching.com

If you know any other teachers who might be interested in this Website, please forward this to them and if you have any questions, feel free to message me.

    Have a great day
